Playing with paper!

I'm trying to develop characters, I suppose with children's books in mind.
After drawing, printing, burning leather etc I'm enjoying cutting up ex-library books and creating creatures....here's my first two!

Papercut installation at the New Art Gallery Walsall. August 08

This was my work exhibited at the New Art Gallery Walsall in August 2008, the culmination of the Artist Teacher Scheme.

Some recent work.

Have been experimenting with cutting up heavy duty polythene instead of opaque paper. Think I prefer the paper as shadows are cast onto it as well as the wall but still worth a go. It hangs nicely and is much more durable!
