Bringing old drawings to life!

I love going through old sketchbooks, finding old work and scanning it in to play with in Photoshop.

....but am enjoying the silence as the kids are asleep...have been up making a couple of new pieces.

Experimenting with leather!!

We've got all these leather samples at work, so I thought I'd have a go at using my pyrography tool on them. It is more successful on the reverse of the leather and although it stinks I like the result.....

Patterns on insides of security envelopes

I've been using old envelopes and other bits of waste paper in my work. The patterns on the inside of the envelopes make a subtle but real difference so am going to research them further.
