Today was my first day back to work after 6 months maternity leave. I met my colleagues at the
Back to Backs in Birmingham and they introduced me to
Husnara Bibi and Graeme Storey (a paper conservationist). Art department staff and students at
Newman University College will be working with Husnara during this wallpaper conservation project which will culminate in an exhibition.
Today we watched Graeme start to separate layers of wallpaper apart using water baths and sprays - please check back for further updates!
